Amrita Singh Memorial Degree College was established in February 2005, on Vasant Panchimi which celebrates as birthday of (Maa Saraswati). A.S.M. Degree College came into existence for the future generations, with the aim of marching on the sacrament and disciplined life path by renowned social worker Mr. Y.P. Singh in the memory of his beloved, Promising & Talented daughter Late. Kumari. Amrita Singh (B.A, L.L.B). Mr. Singh got this inspiration from Late Shri. Hariom Garg.

To give a new direction to the society, He has established Amrita Singh Memorial Trust and in 2005 to place his main objectives in the society and make Amrita Singh Memorial degree College operational, he got affiliation of Arts (B.A) in seven subjects from Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Aligarh

In 2008 A.S.M. Degree College received affiliation for Faculty of Science for B.Sc. (ZBC and PCM)
In 2009 A.S.M. Degree College received affiliation for Faculty of Computer Science for B.C.A.
In 2012 A.S.M. Degree College received recognition under section 2 (F) of University Grant Commission (UGC).
In 2013-14 A.S.M. Degree College received affiliation for Faculty of Commerce for B.COM.

We are on a strive for postgraduate-level affiliation for M.A and also in our Education Faculty, we are trying to get loan facilities for B.ED Programme.
Today A.S.M. Degree College have affiliations in Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer faculties from Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University, Aligarh.
That is why we are slowly and gradually developing ahead towards the growth in a positive direction.
A.S.M. Degree College is not only an institution, it’s a vision and concept of Mr. Y.P.Singh to give new dimension to the society.
Under the guidance and leadership of Secretary, Mr. Vikram Singh, systematic management mechanism is being broadly surveyed picks, discipline is the cornerstone of genes and is inseparable of the student life and at A.S.M. Degree College we believe that based on the same merits advancement in life is achieved.
Today, we have more than 1800 students, compared to the 95 students in the beginning.
